1. Who We Are

Brightness Pictures (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a creative media and film production company based in New Delhi, India.
We produce, license and distribute original content across film, digital and branded platforms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, submitting content or entering a project collaboration, you acknowledge that you’ve read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service.

If you don’t agree, please refrain from accessing our services or materials. (We mean it with love. Protecting creative energy requires clear boundaries.)

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All materials on this site including but not limited to scripts, footage, trailers, logos, concept art and music belong to Brightness Pictures unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written consent.

For collaborators:

All project-related creative work (scripts, visuals, edits, etc.) will be owned by Brightness Pictures, unless a separate written agreement defines otherwise.
We respect moral rights. You’ll always be credited for your creative contribution as agreed upon in your contract.

4. Creative Submissions

We love ideas but unsolicited submissions create legal risks.
Unless invited through an official call or contract, we do not accept pitches, scripts or story ideas. Any unsolicited material submitted becomes our property with no obligation of confidentiality or compensation.

5. Collaborations and Partnerships

When you collaborate with us as a freelancer, artist or co-producer, you’ll sign a separate Production or Partnership Agreement outlining:

Deliverables and timelines
Payment terms and creative credits
Ownership and usage rights
Confidentiality obligations

These contracts override any conflicting terms here.

6. Payments and Invoices

All payments must follow the agreed-upon schedule in your signed contract or invoice.
Delays in payment or delivery may lead to suspension of services or termination of collaboration.

Refunds, if applicable, are processed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Website Use

You agree not to:

Misuse our site or digital platforms
Post false information or impersonate others
Violate copyright or confidentiality terms
Use our materials for unauthorized promotion or resale

We may suspend access to anyone misusing our platforms or data.

8. Confidentiality

All behind-the-scenes content, scripts, or business details you access while working with us or confidential. No leaks, no screenshots, no sharing of internal information even after the project ends.

9. Limitation of Liability

We strive for excellence but creative work carries inherent uncertainty.
We’re not liable for indirect damages including lost profits, opportunities or reputational impacts arising from use of our services or content.

10. Dispute Resolution

If a disagreement arises, both parties agree to:

Attempt mediation first (preferably over good coffee).
If unresolved, proceed to arbitration in New Delhi, Delhi.
All disputes will follow the laws of India.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Any changes will be posted on our official website with the revised date. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated terms.
